How to play

  • Use the Left / Right arrow keys (or A / D) to move the cart. Or move the mouse inside the game area horizontally—the cart follows your pointer (keyboard works again when the pointer leaves the canvas). On phones, use the Left / Right buttons below the canvas.
  • Ingots spawn from the top; when one lands on the cart, you catch it and earn points. Larger ingots score more.
  • If you catch an ingot wider than your current cart, the cart tips over and you fail the level (retry the same level). Missing an ingot costs no lives.
  • There are 20 levels. You have 30 seconds per level to reach the target score in the HUD. Run out of time without enough points and you fail the level (retry). The timer pauses while the game is paused or the shop is open.
  • From level 3, the shop opens: spend points from your bank (earned from catches) to buy ~10% faster falling (stacks) or +10% cart width (stacks). Upgrades last for the current run only. The default fall speed is about double the original baseline.
  • Light background music (browser-generated tones) starts after you click Start or Music (browser autoplay rules). Use Music: on / off to mute. Pausing the game pauses the music too.

Catch the Ingots is a lightweight browser game: a character pushes a cart while gold ingots rain down. You decide when to chase big scores and when to steer clear of oversize ingots that are wider than your cart—touching those fails the level. Later levels raise the score bar; the in-run shop lets you trade banked points for even faster drops or extra cart width. Clearing all 20 levels lets you opt into a local fastest-time board on the right. No install required—ideal for quick sessions and for English searches like “catch falling items game” or “cart dodging mini game.”
